A sumptuously illustrated catalogue of Chinese jades from the Neolithic period to the Han dynasty from a private collection assembled over the period of 26 years. Major types of early jades are well represented, including axe, disc, yazhang, cong, and pendants. Carved pieces of the Zhou and Han periods are also the highlights of this collection. A rare Eastern Zhou animal-shaped plaque and an Eastern Zhou dancer pendant are also featured.
