Catalog of the special exhibition of Japanese art treasures drawn from the Tokyo Fuji Art Museum collection held at the Art Gallery, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. A total of 85 items, dating from the second half of the 16th century to the second half of the 19th century - also known as Momoyama and Edo periods - are featured in this volume. Included in this selection are screen paintings, paintings and calligraphy, ukiyo-e prints, ceramics, lacquerwares, masks and arms, which combine to present a comprehensive array of the achievements of the Japanese artists.
